John has received an honorary doctorate from Butler University.
I propose that the cover of TFIOS be updated to reflect that.

What if oxygen is poisonous and it just takes 75-100 years to kill us?
My science teacher said he thinks that’s true actually
Yeah this is actually pretty much exactly what is going on. It’s why anti-oxidants are such a big deal. Bonus fact: oxygen oxidizes stuff in your cells or, in other words, it’s not toxic, just setting you on firevery very slowly.
I am now fearing for my life

My beaten down copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series are among the best books I’ve ever read in my life. I can totally see it half a century from now in the Classics section of a bookstore. That I even think there will be bookstores 50 years from now is a stretch but some of us could only hope.
Nonetheless, in my vivid imagination, the seven books will be there in a bookshelf with the Jane Austens, Shakespeares, George Orwells, and Edgar Allan Poes. It’ll be in the reading selection of school children and even, high school students. Because, you can never stop reading them whatever age you are.
I can be fifty and I’d still be reading these books again and again.

I photographed the little guy on the left because he was carrying a violin. During the post photo interview, his little brother kept chiming in with his own answers. It was clear that he wanted to be part of the process. After a few questions, the older one called to his brother: “Come be in my picture, Riley.”

OK AT THIS POINT I AM CONVINCED THAT TRELAWNEY IS A 100% LEGIT SEER
you know what else
in greek mythology there was a seer named Cassandra who was given her powers by the god Apollo, and Apollo later cursed her so that nobody would believe any of her prophecies, which all turned out to be true, when she refused to sleep with him.
what’s trelawney’s great-grandmother’s name? CASSANDRA.
CAN WE ALL APPRECIATE TRELAWNEY RIGHT NOW
Can we all appreciate the detailed effort JK Rowling puts into her novels?
